green@wave® technology lets you either dimension your mains supply for a lower current draw, or increase the number of machines you can use for the same installed power.
Take this practical example. Let us suppose we have a 64 A industrial mains supply, and that we want to run a 400 A pulsed MIG/MAG welding process. A conventional inverter power source (PF = 0.65) would draw a current of 59 A from the mains, while a green@wave® power source would only draw 32 A. In this situation we could either install two green@wave® power sources and double our productivity while leaving power to spare for other processes, or reduce our installed power requirement, and cut our connection costs and rates.
